Venta is a private founder network available at venta.io. This notice explains the information the service handles and why.
Information we collect
When you create an account or request membership, Venta may collect your name, email address, profile image, company and founder information, location, biography, and the context you provide with your application. We also keep the status and history needed to review and administer membership.
The service and its infrastructure may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser information, request metadata, timestamps, and security logs. Authentication uses necessary browser storage and cookies to keep you signed in and protect your account.
How we use information
We use this information to:
- authenticate you and secure the service;
- review and administer membership;
- provide your founder profile and private member experience;
- operate, diagnose, and improve Venta; and
- communicate with you about your account or application.
Venta does not sell personal information.
Who processes information
Venta uses service providers to operate the network, including Clerk for authentication and Cloudflare for application hosting, storage, and network delivery. Those providers process information according to their own terms and privacy commitments. Authorized Venta administrators can access application and profile information when needed to review membership and operate the network.
Information you later choose to share with a Venta community or another member will be visible within the access boundary shown by the product. Venta is not a public directory.
Retention and choices
We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide the service, maintain security and membership records, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You may ask to access, correct, or delete your information. Some records may need to be retained where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but Venta uses access controls and service providers designed to protect the information entrusted to it.
Children
Venta is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this notice as Venta develops. The date above will show the latest revision.
