Why Venta is private by default
Trust is not a decorative layer. It changes what people are willing to ask, share, and introduce.
The most useful founder conversations rarely begin in public. They involve an unfinished decision, a difficult personnel problem, a customer relationship, a financing constraint, or a lesson that only makes sense with context.
Venta is private by default because context changes candor. Members should know which group can see a conversation, why another person is present, and what will happen to the information they contribute.
Privacy is a product boundary
A private network needs more than a locked login page. It needs clear boundaries throughout the product:
- Membership is reviewed rather than automatically granted.
- Community membership does not silently grant access to the whole network.
- Relationship context is shown only where it is useful and appropriate.
- Introductions require consent from the people involved.
- Trusted directories are member-contributed intelligence, not public listings.
These boundaries reduce reach by design. The goal is not the largest possible audience. The goal is a group where a founder can bring the real version of a problem and receive a useful response.
Trust remains active
Approval is the beginning of the trust model, not the end. Profiles need to stay current. Community rules need to be visible. Administrators need tools to review access without gaining arbitrary power over member relationships.
Venta will grow only as quickly as those systems can preserve the character of the network.
